I design books with just the right typographic ingredients to make them tasteful. I used to write books, too. I still edit them.

My experience with words. On paper.
1.
A life with words
With almost twenty years of experience as a writer and an editor, I know my way with words. And how they should look on paper.
2.
Why typography matters
One may judge a book by its cover, but that’s just the first page of many. The reader spends most of the time with the rest of the book. It should be worth it, typographically speaking.
3.
Experience
I’ve worked with books, magazines, and online media. From experimental forms to classical ones, from hand-printed chapbooks to hardcovers.
4.
Style
It’s all in the details. The right typeface, good leading, correct quotation marks, the difference between a dash and a hyphen… Good typography sets the tone, yet remains unobtrusive.
